A one-of-a-kind hand-painted decorative plate by Arita ware ceramic artist Kinsai Fujii, featuring auspicious motifs of Deer, Dragon, and Phoenix. Crafted in the historic porcelain town of Arita, celebrated for over 400 years of Japanese ceramic tradition, the piece reflects refined artistry and a strong sense of Japanese cultural identity.

This plate is entirely hand-painted and exclusive — there is only one in existence. In Japanese culture, the Deer symbolizes longevity, the Dragon represents power and protection, and the Phoenix stands for prosperity and auspicious blessings. Their combination creates a distinguished composition ideal for interior display or as a meaningful gift.

Kinsai Fujii’s works have been selected as diplomatic gifts by the Japanese government and presented to world leaders and dignitaries, demonstrating his international recognition and artistic prestige.

Arita ware originates from Arita, Saga Prefecture, a mountain town in Kyushu where porcelain production began in the early 17th century. Today, Arita remains a vibrant craft town filled with kilns, traditional workshops, museums, and scenic streets lined with tile-walled buildings. Visitors can explore the origins of Japanese porcelain, experience pottery-making, and visit long-established kilns that continue to produce world-class ceramics. Many travelers find themselves drawn to Arita after encountering its porcelain.
